JUST ONE GOD:
God inspired Paul to write: “Let us
not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man
put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.” Romans 14:13 (NIV) By voting no we are acknowledging God’s commandment
that we love one another enough to put our own earthly desires behind the
well-being of our neighbor who will be adversely affected by the legalization
of alcohol sales. |
|
I
personally do not use or advocate the use of alcohol. But, let’s not judge one another over the consumption of alcohol,
that’s an individual’s
choice. We have a more important issue and that is
the safety and future of our children.

Will Vote No!
|
This destructive,
self-serving campaign to legalize the widespread sale of alcohol was initiated
by a few individuals with a larger interest in their personal financial gain
than in the safety and well being of our community. Isn’t it a shame that this issue has forced opponents and
proponents (as a community) to face the financial hardships of this issue, at
an estimated cost in excess of $100,000.00. There is no way to affix a value to
the social ramifications that our community has endured and will continue to
endure.
All it takes is just one reason.
