Prohibition In America - Do We Need It?

Jan 9, 10:31 PM

In the 1920’s we had a complete prohibition of Alcohol in America.
There was some success as we had fewer drunkards, fewer drunk drivers, and most importantly, few broken homes.

The Question today is simply, Do we need some Prohibition in America today.
For example, limited prohibition of alcohol, higher drinking ages for teenagers, no Sunday liquor sales, criminal penalties for those who drink that have been convicted of drunk driving.

Greater Prohibition and restrictions of other drugs like tobacco and marijuana?
If so, why?

Why not? And why not take the libertarian perspective to keep government out of the regulation business?

No Alcohol

  1. There is no way in the world anybody could justify the sale of alcohol. We need to remove it from our nation. It is a myth that a person on alcohol is a responsible. Once they start drinking, they are no longer a whole person and will do what they want to do if they can get away with it.
The USA must put human lives first and remove the deadly drinks from American soil. Selling alcohol is murder for money.
Americans need to get their act together and begin doing right and remove the evils from our midst.
