Prohibition In America - Do We Need It?

In the 1920’s we had a complete prohibition of Alcohol in America.
There was some success as we had fewer drunkards, fewer drunk drivers, and most importantly, few broken homes.

The Question today is simply, Do we need some Prohibition in America today.
For example, limited prohibition of alcohol, higher drinking ages for teenagers, no Sunday liquor sales, criminal penalties for those who drink that have been convicted of drunk driving.

Greater Prohibition and restrictions of other drugs like tobacco and marijuana?
If so, why?

Why not? And why not take the libertarian perspective to keep government out of the regulation business?

Can a Drunkard Go to Heaven?

1 Corinthians 6:9-10:
“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do
not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor
adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor
the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the
kingdom of God.”

Based on the above, Apostle Paul says: DRUNKARDS will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Does Jesus forgive and allow otherwise?
What about, Once Saved, Always Saved? If a person was previously a Christian, then becomes a Drunkard, does he lose his salvation?

What think Ye?
